Waterfront advises Taxibeat in connection with the acquisition of the company by mytaxi

Waterfront has advised Taxibeat in connection with the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of the company by mytaxi, a member of the Daimler group of companies.

Taxibeat was founded in 2011 and is the leading taxi app in Greece. mytaxi is Europe’s largest taxi e-hailing company with operations in ten European countries.

Waterfront has advised Taxibeat since its incorporation in 2011, including in relation to a number of venture capital investments in the company (see link US$4m equity investment from Hummingbird Investments).

The Waterfront team was led by Matt Cunningham (Partner and head of corporate) with support from Okachi Kejeh (Associate) and Matthew Akehurst (Trainee).
