Our intellectual property team retained their ranking this year and were noted as 'litigators with a strong focus on the technology sector and experience handling High Court and IPEC proceedings'. Their assists on trade mark, copyright, database and patent disputes are also noted.
Piers Strickland continues to be ranked both in the UK and Global Chambers and is described as 'strong across all areas including negotiation, strategic thinking and commercial awareness' in relation to his work as solicitor advocate in which he deals with a number of core rights.

We celebrate a new entry this year for our corporate team in Venture Capital, Corporate and Commercial. The team are described as having 'excellent understanding of what it takes to work with start-ups where agility is required'. Special mention goes to our Head of Corporate Matthew Cunningham who is described as 'first-rate', with clients commending his 'attentive and thoughtful approach' in their feedback.
Our commercial team, noted for their 'great specialist knowledge and experience', retained their tier 3 ranking in IT & Telecoms. Special mention is made of Richard Chapman's work for Ricoh on their global deal to purchase Microsoft’s cloud services. He is described as 'great to work with and has a wealth of knowledge in IT space'.
