Waterfront’s corporate team of Patrick Peake and Matt Cunningham recently acted for WAMBIZ. The social networking platform secured £600,000 of investment from the Allan Murdoch Group, a consortium of eight investors that backs technology ventures.
WAMBIZ operate primarily in the educational sector and their recent link up with South Staffordshire College featured in the Sunday Times.
The company’s Co-Founders, Harry Jawanda and Andrew West, both played international hockey for England before embarking on the WAMBIZ application, which also recently launched on Apple’s appstore.
Harry Jawanda said “This investment comes at a key time for the company as we to enter into a large number of collaborations with colleges and universities across the country. Patrick and Matt delivered an excellent service and were always on hand to help with the various issues arising from the deal in a friendly and accessible manner. Waterfront has been dealing with all legal matters for WAMBIZ since the company started and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”
