HR Support and Training

We work with a number of clients as their virtual in-house legal or HR adviser. We appreciate that many companies do not want to employ a full-time HR adviser, so we can provide that service remotely. The service can cover everything from recruitment, through to the handling of disciplinary and grievance issues, to the termination of employment and the resolution of disputes.

Some clients benefit from ad-hoc advice, whilst some choose to agree a monthly retainer in order to benefit from discounted rates.

We also train HR advisers and managers in the law and best practice when it comes to the day-to-day function of a HR professional. This is a great way of reducing the risk of disputes and ensuring a happy workforce. These practical courses can be for an hour or full days and they are always tailored to the needs of each client.

Some examples of our work are:

  • Acting as the legal adviser to the UK HR team of a business with 10,000 employees in the UK.
  • Advising the General Counsel of a multi-national group company on the employment aspects of its various UK subsidiaries.
  • Providing training to a group of managers on the Bribery Act 2010.
